Mod Request: The Luggage

Post » Wed May 16, 2012 4:10 am

The Luggage, from Terry Pratchetts Discworld, a living luggage box on many tiny legs that follows it's owner everywhere.

That's what I want instead of putting 300kg of gear in my pockets.

That. And the COBL version that links your chests in the homes.
Though, having The Luggage follow around and eating bandits would be cool! :D

Should be possible to make the horse available for stashing items?

Legend idea. Could easily be done by sticking a chest onto a dog or something. Might not have teeth, though.

Never underestimate the magic of Blender/Maya/3DStudio :D
But I think a spider is better, so we have more legs to link the feet bones to :D

Maybe you could put that bag in your horse? So whenever you get out of a dungeon you could put the stuff on him.

Saddlebags + call horse and they makes sense. Might also a postal service like in Fallout NV, you pay a carriage or innkeeper to have your stuff sent to a major city.

For a second there. I thought you meant Sheogorath's luggage.

In theory this sounds cool, however, I can see it getting stuck trying to walk over mountains or other obstacles. Perhaps a floating version?

As long as it eventually force-respawned near you, it'd be fine. The Luggage always finds its owner, eventually.
