[WIP?]My Modding Scribble-Board

Not sure how much the Construction Set and whatnot has changed since Morrowind (probably a lot) but this thread is gonna be my repository for ideas of stuff that I intend to... well mostly in my opinion fix. So yea notepad here for things I'd like to see changed and think I can actually do so myself.

I modded a lot for myself and a little publicly in Morrowind. I think my intention this time will be to be a bit more organized with projects so I can release just in case people are interested, but my primary audience is still going to be myself. That said I'd love comments / feedback / etc. Also if other people plan to do very similar things to me it'd be nice to know as it'd be very silly to aim after something someone else is already going to be covering. A lot of what I want to do is mostly just balance grunt-work, pet-peeve fixes and so fourth and not the big interesting modding work though. Anyway in no particular order ok that's a lie, I got anol-retentive and organized this stuff a bit:

Item related stuff - fun/epicness/balance:

-Removal of all leveled quest rewards. Seriously, this stuff needs to die in a fire already.
-Buff artifacts significantly. (I want to restore the 'awe factor' to these legendary items, and make them actually worth using, as well as interesting.)
-Remove level restrictions on quests | make some areas have a higher base level to compensate.

Smithing

Probably the biggest thing I want changes made to. General objectives:
-Tone down skyrim focus on making your own stuff (to the point where it becomes pretty much obligatory anyway).
-Make it rewarding and fun, but not overpowered.
--Probable answer to this is to overhaul the perk tree for smithing, and change how upgrading works. (mostly nerf it)
--Smithable only stuff that's actually worth having.
--Expand amount of stuff that can be crafted. Possibly just rename smithing to crafting since it already includes leather-working anyway.

Misc

-More containers in the houses that you can buy, seriously. Useful containers, chests etc. especially in crafting areas.
-Smithing areas in at least the expensive houses. Most of them have at least one totally unfurnished spare room anyway.
-Fix a few annoying quest things if Beth doesn't get around to it; I have a list around here somewhere.

Question for people who did Oblivion stuff: How did modders handle dialogue? Since it's all voice acted now, I mean. I would rather like to add a few more options to some quests.
