Does it happen right away after you try to boot up the game? Or does it take a couple of minutes for this to happen? Not an expert about these matters, but i've seen similar problems with it being as simple as a port issue on the modem/router.

What type of ISP are you with and what kind of modem, and possibly router, are you using?

no router and it varies depends how long game is stable for / minor crash and it shuts my modem off like if a lagg spiek is long enough it will shut my modem off

not sure about modem type i has and what do mean type of ISP ?

Are you sure that the game isn't crasshing because of your modem?
And in that case you should get a new one, because having a broken modem isn't any fun.

So if you get a long lag spike, the modem shuts off and the game crashes? Or is it, you get a long lag spike, the game freezes, and the modem shuts off?

ISP = internet service provider

Your modem disapproves of the games you are playing.

I would guess that some malware is trying to gain control of the network connection, but clashes with the game and crashes it. That is just a hunch, it could be a problem with the modem. If possible, switch it with a borrowed one and see what happens.

Log in to the modem and find out how bad your connection is to your ISP.

There's a couple of things that you can do, but I would try an internet speed test. If you crash during the test it could be a problem with your modem. It might be wise to try to grab a $50 to $60 firewall router to help out if you are getting blue-screens and such. I will never go commando again on the internetz without a firewall or my firewall router.

Isn't your computer like... really old? Maybe you should play older games that don't crash instead.
