Mods are already rolling in!

There is already an ambient occlusion and texture mod (alpha of course).

What do you think, maybe 6 months until Skyrim is modded into a new generation of gaming?

Great work Beth - as usual you create a phenomenal template of a game, and this amazing mod community takes it to a new level (which time constraints preclude Beth from accomplishing, obviously).

Great design philosophy! It has led to 4 of the most cherished games of all time. :mohawk:

I'm scared to open the CK this time around; I'll end up spending all my time modding.

Umm... Looks like it already exists (unless you made a typo and wrote "make" instead of "made"):

Install mods ... or mod?

Modding is a combination of learning texture / mesh / scripting / etc (basically 'scripty' quick n dirty game design)

Installing mods is just drag and drop folders. (or use the excellent 'mod managers' for each respective Beth game)

I would KILL for an apt-get style mod installer ;) I've debated writing one myself.

It's not really a mod per-say; just forcing AO on in the Nvidia driver.

However AO is this:
