Mods for xbox 360

Post » Sun Jan 02, 2011 6:53 pm

This should've happened at the start. Mods for fallout new Vegas. People should be able to use gameplay mods for fallout since 2008, but here is my idea of it. You are only able to fallout for the PC, and when you use a computer files get corrupt more often and usually crash. Well on the xbox everything works fast and doesn't crash at all. This is an idea of what I'm saying when you buy a computer game you get lots of problems and bugs. But on the xbox there aren't any problems at all. Also if we want nexus mods on the xbox this is what Bethesda should do. Make the fallout mod manager able to be downloaded for 400 Microsoft points. After that for free download a client to acsess the fallout nexus and download all the mods you want. As soon as you download a mod it downloads like a regular xbox download. But you will have to set where the download will go. You will obviously send it to the fallout directory. After a downloads complete go to the fallout mod manager and NVSE (the fallout script extender.). This will probably allow mods to run more faster if the xbox version of fallout has different files. When you're Done downloading all the mods you downloaded will show up in the menu of the fallout mod manager. Just check or uncheck to play with that mod. When your done checking and unchecking mods just press start game and you will begin playing with mods. Also the NVSe script extender will also make more mods compatible with fallout.

PLEASE DO THIS BETHESDA!!! Thanks.

Computers don't get the RROD.
Also, it's illegal to open up an Xbox or mod it.

You want to mod stuff, buy a computer, they almost cost the same as a console, and they cost even less to upgrade every two years

User made mods are not going to be made available for consoles - it has been confirmed in this post by Gstaff.

We like seeing the mods that are made by the community, but we have no plans to make them available as official releases.
................................................ If you're into modding, we suggest you go for the PC version.
