This is one customer that won't be paying you $240 to play your game for a year. And that's without including what I pay for Xbox Live Gold. Seriously, just really irritated by this whole decision. The whole point for Xbox Live in the first place was to AVOID monthly subscription fees for games.

I encourage everyone else to boycott this game before this sets a precedence on console games charging a monthly fee.

Get off your high horse and realize that games have to pay for themselves. The 'Live' fee goes to Micro$oft, not to the developers.

Besides, petitions aren't allowed on this forum. This thread is, I'm afraid, going to get locked as soon as a mod sees it.

Thinking he's just scared that other companies will start emulating them if ESO is successful. Heaven forbid we actually be expected to pay for a service. The nerve of some people eh?

Until a payment model for the game is released, there is nothing to discuss.

As far as fees for console online services goes, that is another discussion for another forum entirely, like Community Discussion.
