So I had this idea so we can have a discussion and vote on about this and which type we like playing.
Reading this http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/08/24/free-to-play-makes-sense-for-blizzard-at-some-point/ it would be a bad idea for Blizzard Entertainment to make World of Warcraft Free to Play (F2P) because Blizzard would lose so much money and probably close down World of Warcraft fast.
I myself do not like Free to Play (F2P) video games I hate cash shops and microtransactions.
I have been paying subs every month for EVE Online and World of Warcraft for over 10+ years. Hearing The Elder Scrolls: Online will be a monthly subscription MMO this will be the third MMO I will be paying monthly for.
I have never played Dota 2, League of Legends (LOL), PlanetSide 2, War Frame, etc cause they piss me off.
Lets put it this way if you play Free to Play (F2P) video games you end up paying more every month than $10 dollars (USD) or $15 dollars (USD) I have seen people who spend $300 dollars (USD) a month on PlanetSide 2 and then do stupid stuff like cheat and get banned I read this from a Tweet from SONY Online Entertainment's Twitter.
Someone paid $400 dollars (USD) for Microsoft Flight and now Microsoft Flight was pulled off of Steam and is getting shut down same goes for Age of Empires (AoE) Online.
Your thoughts?
Free to Play (F2P) in my opinion is a plague on the video game industry. It's a way to make way more money off of virtual items :/ I find it better to pay monthly for the MMO to keep the servers running 24/7 and not be locked out of anything have everything released for free.
