So A Moose Is Following Me

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 11:27 pm

I kid you not. I didn't conjure this moose, I did not raise this moose but it is following me EVERYWHERE. Even when I fast travel. I don't mind particularly, it'll die soon but just wondering if this has happened to anybody else or is this possibly some really strange quest reward?!? I first noticed it at the College of Winterhold.

Karma perhaps? The mighty moose that you have slaughtered over your life will now follow you to your grave? And judge every move you make?

I can't deal with that kind of pressure, it'll drive me insane! Maybe there is no moose...

Is it an ethereal moose or a solid one? If its an ethereal moose it might be a quest giver.

I'd kill an NPC for that honour. Having something like that follow you around. BAD-ASS!

Just an average moose although that should be elk. Can't interact with it or anything, it just sprints after me if I run too far from it and it stares at me constantly haha

But that's so sweet! Be cure not to get it killed in a battle, though. You couldn't take it. You can downplay your moose here as much as you want, but deep down inside you know that when it eventually dies, you will be a sad advanturer. :(

That's so creepy. I can't help but picture that moose from Invader Zim with a boggle stare.

I agree, im not sure i could go on w/o my trusty companion moose. i might have to retiree from adventuring. You should give it a name too. cant keep calling it moose that's degrading.

It appears to have found a home at Azura's Shrine. Won't follow me anymore :( Perhaps it was on a Pilgrimage?

This is what I was thinking!

At least your not stuck in a room with a moose OP!

I would suggest killing the moose as it sounds pretty damn creepy, but it's probably just a glitch.

I shall hitherto refer only to him as Stanley. Stanley The Elk esq. III. A noble creature, loyal companion and most importantly a good friend. I expect to return one day to find a family of little Stanleys and a Stanlette.

Yeah, but you can still name it. I suggest http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johan_Hedberg.

Does it move or does it just stand next to the shrine? If it stays put, be sure to greet it every now and then.

This was so very endearing episode. May Azura protect you wherever you go!
