Whoa, this isn't effected by Elven smithing like Chitin, it even uses leather instead? I just got it and was planning to make it my main armor for my dunmer. Is there any chance its effected by advanced or am I so out of luck? Does it use matching set even?

Edit: It does count for Advanced Armor and Matching set.

Why is that a problem?

It's can't be smithed above Epic.

Have you tried enchanted gear and potions?

I made four items of 25% each, I don't want to exploit.

Isn't epic high enough?

My chitin set just barely goes over the cap, 570, this armor goes only to 389. Im not asking for much, if it went to 450 Ill be happy.

Im not complaining really though. I was wondering if it is effected by matching set and if there was a chance it could be under advanced armor. Iono. Small chance I know.

I just going to stick with the Chitin if not, but its not a big deal, just wanted to go darker.

Im going to wait at a potion shop to see if I can get any help there.

So you're setting light armor to the cap, but refuse to use any exploits?

Um, yes? I got that by just getting my smithing up and having the right perk and enchanting. I don't want to put perks into or use achlemy.

Anyways, I just realize my smithing is only 85, I forgot that. So Im going to go get that up to 100. That may help.

And Im not trying to step into a debate about getting light armor to the cap. I just want a rating of 450, it just happen that having the perk got it over. My character is a smither and encanter only.

Wow, problem really solved. I got a perk finally and decided to try putting it into advanced armor. Morag Tong Armor is effected by Advanced Armor.

you should be able to make any item legendary after 100 smithing with the perks and all.

EDIT: aside from un-upgradable weapons and armor of course.
