When I first started playing Skyrim and would Shout near a town or village or even an NPC character I would recieve a letter from a courier telling me the location of a word wall. I have now logged 1202hrs of gameplay with 6 different characters. With my new character I have used shouts in public area's and in front of NPCs, yet no letters have arrived when I visit a town. With all the other characters when I have done this a courier has appeared with the letters telling me where to find word walls. Have I hit a point where I am no longer entitled to those letters?

My attempts to try and figure this out have included verify game cache (to which a Steam meeage box arrives saying "Unable to verify 1 file will reacquire now" and uninstall reinstall. Have turned of Dawnguard and Hearthfire and the High Res Texture. Reloaded an old save of previous characters and Shouted (no letters came) even reloaded right to Western Watch Tower with the Whiterun Guards and Irileth with my first character from Nov 12 2011 and headed to Whiterun where no courier came. Waited 2 ingame days just inside Whiterun to make sure as well as being inside Breezehome. Also I think my 4th character has all three words to all the shouts and I am unsure if that has stopped the courier. I am at a loss and wonder what else to try so I made this. Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong area.

I think they stop coming when you've progressed past a certain point on the main quest; you can get locations from The Blades or the Greybeards

I know. Just miss getting post really. All I get in real life is bills.
