Hey guys.

I am now on my 3rd character, character 1 and 2 have been defeated to the point of no return by unfortunates saves and ireversable autosaves and glitches in the game making it impossible to continue, now I think character 3 has fallen to the same fate, I shall explain.

I have been doing the Brotherhood of Steel quest line, hoping to unite the BoS and NCR to work together at Hoover Dam. I have been doing the quest (SPOILER) where you need to go and get the Pulse Gun. I have done the quest easily enough (did it on a previous file so knew how to do it, was tricky at first), killed everything in the way, got past the computers, codes, keys etc. etc. Got the gun. Now, here is the issue. I went into the footlocker the gun is in, found the gun and same ammo (some drained, and some not), pressed X to pick them all up, no problem. I automatically went back to the Hidden Vally to hand everything in and have an arguement with the Elder, as the quest does. I get there, Veronica is standing there, nothing is happening. I am wondering why this is, I go back and check the quest, all it tells me to do is go back into the Vault, I follow it all the way back, it takes me to an empty footlocker where I picked up the gun, and the gun is not in my possesion.

Anyone had this problem, and is there a fix? this is a great game, but my third high level character messed up by a glitch, I will not be pleased.
