This has always been something that bothered me. Took them long enough.

Oh man this is why I hate television and everyone who spends all their free time slumped in front of it. If only they'd do the same in the UK.

Like this is going to stop me from skipping those commercials when I watch shows on the DVR

so it finally went into effect, i remember when they were talking about this 6 years ago. To be honest i thought it already went into effect, i had noticed the few times that i was around a television in the last two years that the sound levels weren't fluxuating as much as i remember it had been five years ago.
