More perks, less levels

Since scaling with levels ends at 50, I was thinking about setting hard level cap here, and increasing perk gain to 2 per level. Would be it hard to do so, when CK comes out? I know, that my idea sounds overpowered, but I'm not going to abuse it. I just want to pick non-combat related perks without being punished for doing so. :sadvaultboy:

I wont judge if it's overpowered or not. I'm not forced to use it so why should I do anything but help you make it happen. :D In Fallout, there was a simple setting that altered how often you got a perk, so I would assume there should be a simple setting in Skyrim to alter how many perks per level you get. Though, I'm not sure about setting the hard cap to 50. I don't think they set an actual number, it just ends when all skills hit 100. Although, I could be wrong. We will have to wait for the CK to see on that one.

There's an edit you can do with a hex editor to change the game to give your character 2 perks per level, the thread should still be on the first page, search for PERK.

I did it, and it works great

Scaling's gone after 50? Works for me.

... except that it won't work anymore thanks to Steam. Ah, well... back to manually adding perks to mimic having more perk points. -_-'
