More Weapons

Well since there weren't so many weapons in the previous crisis games I was wondering if they are finally going to give more weapons than in the previous crisis games.

I wouldn't WANT more weapons. First off, military organizations are usually fairly big on uniformity, for one, and for two, I personally despise games where every time I kill someone, they have a different weapon, and oh look, I guess I have to swap weapons AGAIN, since I'm out of ammo, AGAIN.

And frankly, you try carrying all that stuff around, and bulk is going to kick you in the shins.

I'm sure with the nanosuit 2, you could easily carry ten guns on on your back, but honestly, I don't mind the current setup.

It isn't about the weight. Its about balance and convenience. Having the barrels of 8 different rifles bouncing off the backs and sides of your knees while you run would be pure fail.

It's also unfair, doesn't feel fun or realistic (If realism is what you're after). Perhaps for authenticity it is fun, but really, a challenge where you only carry 2 weapons and survive with it is what I want.

At least that way, whenever you run out of ammo for a certain weapon, scavenging for a gun will be something great, and on par with the tactical mode (That mode highlights dropped or hidden weapons) you can find it more easily.

Back to the topic at hand, I would like to see some of the old guns return, like a bonus feature or as a MP unlock. I don't know about how much new weapons are available, but I do know that we got a whole new arsenal of weaponry. :)

I to tend to agree, more weapons the better! Especially if you can customise the weapons. Just love having options available and its good to see people have there favourites.

Yeah, its more realistic and fun when you don't carry around 10 weapons like in Serious Sam... but hey, Serious Sam was good that way, but Crysis would definitely not fit in with that mechanic at all
