I got into the room where Morokei is sneaking and killed the two mages charging his shield. Then as soon as i hit him with a spell he detected me but never attacked. I walked right up to him (both sneaking and normal) and stood in front of him and he just stood there and never attacked. No matter what i did he would do nothing back. So i eventually killed him and just took the items. I would actually like to do this boss battle so how could i fix it?

I have yet to be attack by the 3 dragon priests I faced so far, they go down as quickly as death lords (3 hits from my bow)

Same for me but i guess that was due to the 2 storm atronarchs that were emptying his magicka pool.

He carries a staff, so having an empty magicka pool shouldn't have stopped him from attacking.

I haven't had any issues with dragon priests ignoring me, and they're by far the toughest single opponents I've faced in Skyrim as a non-mage (wards are OP bro). What difficulty/race are you playing?

Im a dark elf (level 18) and i was on Apprentice difficulty at the time. I will change it to Adept that will probably help. Ive been doing one hit kills on bandits and Fallmer (sneak attack) and such (only thing i have trouble with is groups of charrus, a single one is no problem) so the game is kind of getting easy. Dragons aren't even a challenge anymore (i took down my last one in 5 hits with destruction spells and robes i crafted that enhance them ) so i think its time I go up in difficulty.

I let morokei waste his staff down and eventually he couldn't attack me anymore. And now I have a nice creepy looking mask that occasionally makes my whole head disappear.

This happens to me often as well. I've killed five priests I think, and three stood there without attacking me. I don't recall who the other two were, but Morokei was the latest.

This happens with dragons sometimes, too. They will hover and look down at me and just fly there, in place, until I shoot them to death with arrows. The dragons that bug out like that don't give me souls, either.

The first time i visited him he burned me so hard, that my body flew through the hole dungeon. The second attemt was like yours and i killed him. I think his pathing was a bit confused. Have you tried reloading before you free him by killing the two mages?
