Morrowind creatures

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 5:08 pm

Which creatures from Morrowind do you think will make a return to the province in TES:O?
There's already one screenshot of an alit/kagoti (I will never learn to spell that). That two-legged no-arms creature!

So which other Morrowind creatures do you think will show up? Neches, cliff racers, nix-hounds, corprus monster perhaps..?, bonelords, guars.. etc?
Silt striders? (But perhaps these will only be eye candy)

Well I hope Ash creatures will make an appearance since looking at the time TES:O takes place Dagoth Ur is starting to return and rise to power.

Would like to see bonewalkers and Bonelords aswell

As much as I'm annoyed by the general art style, I have to say that the creatures in the screenshots looked quite nice. I especially like the redesigned Kagouti.
If the rest of them look that good, I'm pleased.

Ah, Kagouti, that's how you spell it!!!
Personally, I'm looking forward to see if they include Neches. I always loved them!

Were there already Corprus beasts in this time-frame? I know Dagoth Ur had quite a long time to work on his machinations up there in that mountain, but I thought that up until recently before Morrowind they were all fairly well contained or at least in seclusion?

If the MMO takes place in the Imperial Interregnum as we speculate, then it should be just before Dagoth Ur woke under Red Mountain.
This should mean that there are no ash storms, no blight spread over Vvardenfell and very little corprus creatures.

I can't wait to kill a Netch with a fork and to get assaulted by legions of Cliff Racers.

No actually Dagoth Ur didn't reawaken till almost the very end of the Second era so i doubt we will see him, maybe a Much later expansion or something.

Dagoth Ur reawakens in 2E882 But perhaps it will be possible to include him in a Vvardenfell-expansion anyways.. Either the game will take place closer to the end of the Second Era than we think, or perhaps Dagoth Ur awakens before 2E882 but keep a low profile aka a "nameless shadow" aka not revealing himself to be Dagoth Ur aka something like that...

Or perhaps he will be left out completely!!

All of them plus a few new ones. I am pretty sure the dev team for TESO is like "thank goodness for Morrowind and all it's unique creatures". I mean they have to invent new creatures for most of the other provinces.
