Morrowind Updated

Post » Wed Aug 26, 2009 6:13 am

Anyone think it would be amazing if they released Morrowind on the 360 with some small updates. I'm talking stuff like making it less laggy, and possibly improving the Alchemy so it is similar to Oblivion (meaning you don't have to enter the inventory of plants each time you loot one, it just goes straight into inventory once you click on it.) I would really love this because Morrowind is my favorite game, and i dont know about other people, but would surely pay 60 dollars for it.

While a neat idea I'd rather they put their resources in to new games.

True, if this happened to be a lot of work it might not be worth it, but I am curious how much work it would actually be, compared to say, making a whole new game

There are mods that do exactly that.
As well as mods that update the game and make it run smoother.

You could always just pick up the PC version. I'm sure it runs fine on most computers now.

yeah Beth should remaster MW and release it on live/steam.. include long draw distance, HD graphics etc...

MW with graphics/immersion mods is just epic.

But why would they spend all that time and energy on an old game, when people can just install a few mods that already exist to get the same results.

PC gamers do not represent the sum total of morrowind fans :P

Ya, Mods aren't available on the Xbox, and IMO (just my opinion, don't get mad) I really enjoy it more on the Xbox. I prefer the control feel over the keyboard, and the big screen is just awesome.

So you want them to rerelease Morrowind with a few minor improvements on a nearly 10 years old console, while most people are playing it on the PC anyway? :P
