Without any warning, all sounds in my game have stopped playing with the exception of voices. NPCs are still audible like normal, but everything else--combat sounds, creature noises, menu sounds, etc.--are all silent.

I really don't fancy the idea of reinstalling everything, so is there some other way to check what the problem is? I've already checked the settings, and they're unchanged from what I've always had them at. I haven't installed or altered any mods since the last time I played the game with working audio.
