I've made two theories for Assassins Creed, which I would actually love to discuss with you people. Spoilers up ahead, so keep scrolling if you care.
The first theory came when I was watching Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which by the way is a very good movie and does not deserve the amount of bad critic that it gets. There is one part where Indiana is talking about the legendary city of Akator, more commonly known as El Dorado. It was rumored to be made of gold, which Indi later points out is another world for treasure in the Mayan world. Akator was also rumored to be very highly ahed of its time, having aqueducts and all other sorts of technology thousands of years before it should have.
Considering in Assassins Creed 3 that it has been confirmed we will be going to the Carribean, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the temples left behind by the Ones whom Came Before was actually Akator. It would be an amazing way to end Connor's perspective: A giant race through the jungles of South America to reach Akator before the Templars do. There are several other factors that can help confirm my theory, but I will leave it at that.
Theory number two is a lot more simpler. While watching Soul Eater, the legendary sword of Excalibur was brought up. It was mentioned that the sword was fabled to allow the one that it chose (what else in this series choses who can wield its abilities?) to teleport, and grant them angelic wings. My theory for that is that Excalibur is actually one of the Pieces of Eden. While I doubt it will be featured in AC 3, I can easily see a later title in the franchise set in medieval Europe in which the Templar are seeking the blade.
