Motos helmet : Fallout: New Vegas

Ok I killed moto looking for Asher but now the stupid helmet is stuck in my inventory.
Is it part of another side quest?
I'm on ps3 by the way.

Are you talking about Motor Oils helmet? If so head to camp Mccarran and there is a guy who will collect it as a bounty.

i'm on the xbox and am curious about this as well. He is speaking about Motor-Runner's Helmet. It is stuck in my inventory also. Xbox 360

Ah. Head to Camp Mccarran and look for a guy with a green beret. Talk to him and you will receive a reward.

They are referring to the helmet not the head. Frankly I don't know why you would get rid of it because it is pretty useful for me as a player with a rather low Perception and Fiend hats are pretty common for repairs. But I'll check to see if this is an issue on PS3 as well.

Yeah but you can head to Mccarran and show it as a proof to the bounty collector if I remember correctly.

EDIT: You need to show it to Colonel Hsu in Mccarran and he will give you a reward

No, the actual HELMET is stuck in my inventory as well.

It's an okay helmet, but I prefer rockin' a cool cowboy hat and shades. I would rather it was not stuck in my inventory.

Go to CAMP MCCARRAN and then look up COLONEL HSU and then show him the HELMET. That said I do not know if he actually takes the helmet from you.

He takes the head but leaves the helmet. The OP obviously finished the quest and somehow the helmet is stuck as a quest item. :wavey:

I don't think Motor-Runner actually drops a head.

well the thing is.. the damn helmet stuck for good now and.. some how.. sometime motor's helmet's highlight being turned off.. and that state if i wear it.. the game crash.. ..... i like the 1per with 5 melee but.. still item contains chance of crash?

really wanna drop it...
