They have sort of refused to comment on it. Possibilities include Dragons, sabretooths and mammoths, but we don't really know.

nope (thankfully) that will not be. "this is not how to train your dragon dragons are generaly evil" parapharased a bit but that is bethesda's response to that idea, thankfully they will be working on something much more entertaining

I hope spouses are mountable, not in that way you prevertss! I want to buy a saddle and strap it to my wife so she can carry my dunmer through the tundra. Much cheaper than a horse.

As someone in this thread said, it would be awesome to get dragon mounts as DLC. maybe a taming power that allows you to ride them.

In a fantasy book I read there was a story about a dragon who wanted him to get its egg back. The dragon then gave permission for the huiman to ride her to help get the egg back. After succeeding as a reward the dragon let the human ride her at special times when he blew a whisle or somethng. This is the kind of quest they need to add as a DLC

So are the ones in the Pern series. But then that's a special case.
So are the ones in Warcraft. But dragon-riding in that universe is also a special case, or a number of special cases depending on how you look at it.
