I agree with this, sorry OP but all those characters in one movie wouldn't work out, I don't see any plot that would work out.

That would actually be quite awesome if this thread doesn't turn into one, you should totally make one.

The major difference being that that one might actually work out, since all the characters are, kind of, from the same universe, it's based on an existing cross-over story (which may well be quite bad, but I've never read it) and they've been setting up the mashup during separate movies about each superhero. Not to mention that they're all comic book heroes, so it's okay if the setting is a bit silly. It's nothing near as ridiculous as having Darth Vader and Jack Aubrey in the same movie.

Well the avengers have existed since well, all my life, it's been a comic book for ages, so it's not really the same as having Gandalf fighting Darth Maul.

Well, I think it might be cool to watch, but whichever one is the most powerful would just kick everyone's ass, and it'll be over.

Plus, it would be extremely hard to fit all that into canon.
