Moving Dragons

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 6:01 am

I know that you can kill someone you can drag their body away and out of sight, but I was wondering if you could do something to move a dragon's skeleton after you kill it? The reason I ask is because when I was in riverwood a dragon attacked me and when I killed it it landed right in the middle of the road and it is a little annoying to have to walk through it everytime. It sort of changes the aesthetics of the little town. This is no big deal, but it would be cool if there was something that could be done. Maybe being able to dispose of corpse like you could in Morrowind.

Nope. I tried doing it with the A button. I think it might disappear if you spend enough time away from the town though.

Care to explain. This is something that really annoys me and I hope that Bethesda changes this.

If u have Apprentice Destruction You can throw the Skeleton half way up a mountain.

Anything higher and omg will you have fun with dragons Skeletons. I blow them into trees to watch em wrap around it multiple times then fly out into the distance. Otherwise just moving like picking up i don't believe you can

Edit: Also while its annoying it does make sense. You shouldn't just be able to chuck a dragons bones around lol but im sure there's some other way besides just spells

How exactly can you move these dragon bones? With what apprentice spell? I'd really like to know because I'm starting to worry that there will be too many dragon skeletons after a while.

If we can't move dragon bones I'm seriously considering re-starting and not doing the quest that results in random dragon encounters.

I tried all of my destruction spells. Given, none of them are higher than a novice and I also tried my dragon shouts. Everything went through the dragon skeleton. I'm thinking that they cannot be moved. I don't understand why Bethesda thought it was a good idea to leave the skeletons there for the rest of the game. Surely they noticed the strange and awkward places they wind up. Its cool at first but after hundreds of hours of gameplay I'm sure the 100+ dragon skeletons will get a bit old. Especially the ones you walk THROUGH on the main roads and in main cities.

Had 2 dragon skeletons fell from sky and landed in the middle of Mage University. Blew them far away into the ocean with a fireball.

How do you move bodies? I didn't know you can move then. Can I use Unrelentless Force on a skeleton and have it moved?

oh my god, fine. If you guys use re-animate corpse or raise zombie aimed directly at the dragon skeleton, it's possible to send the carcass literally HUNDREDS of feet. FOR [censored] SAKE TRY IT!

Well, upon further "study" it seems some do and some don't disappear. The first dragon you face in the game never disappears because he is named. What really annoying for me is that somehow he sunk into the ground (glitched through it) and then fell from the sky. In doing this he fell about 500 yards up the road and right outside of Whiterun. Now every time that area loads he starts flopping around and its looks like he's having a seizure.

Alright, this has honestly gotten to the point where this is truly ridiculous. A dragon I killed has moved from where I killed it, over the past few game days a grand total of probably close to 1000 yards. He's slowly making his way up to the entrance of Whiterun. I'm not kidding, he will sink through the ground, fall from the sky and bounce around like crazy. This needs to be addressed. Can we really reanimate him and move him? Where do I get the spell?
