Do multi-cores work then?

Hey guys, there was a rumor going around that this game only allows you to use a single core when playing Skyrim. Is this true? Perhaps this could be the source of my lag?

No! I have witnessed with my own eyes the game utilizing all four of my cores. See for your self. Open task manager, select 'always on top' in the options and start the game in windowed mode.

I have seen benchmarks from tomshardware and some other site, both pretty much looked like it is well-optimized for two cores, but absolutely nothing beyond that which is pretty ... strange since it seems to stress the cpu quite a bit
