I'm not the only one thinking SCAR w/ +mag is the most useful weapon+attachment in this game, right? Just full clip with aim enhance perk and you might as well say screw sniping.

People use Aim Enhance with the SCAR? It already has no recoil to begin with.

Little bit of recoil,but it's still pretty stable.

The Feline is a pretty solid gun as well,so between those two,there's really no use for any of the other guns unless you wanna chump out and snipe.

The tier 1 shotty svcks,and the Grendel is pure trash.Haven't leveled far enough yet to get the rest of the guns.

Yep, from what I've seen, the SCAR is better than every other gun in almost every situation.

Scar needs more recoil and possibly less damage. Also, it'd be nice if pistols actually did good damage, but only at close range. They're useless as it stands.

SCAR is fine.. it's popular because it's a great generalist. The Feline and the shotguns can take it at close range (yes, if you learn how to use the shotguns they ARE useful), and snipers can outshoot it at long range. The LMG can take a reflex/ironsight SCAR at medium range also.

Pistols don't need a damage boost, they need higher fire cap. It svcks when I know my Hammer pistol can kill in a few shots, but the in-game firecap means I can't get them off.

SCAR is definitely overpowered.

It needs an overall slight damage reduction, a larger damage gap in medium range or a slight decrease in rate of fire.

Yeah, if you nerf the SCAR 97% of the players will scream bloody murder and quit. Give a slight boost to the other weapons so players don’t feel like they MUST use the SCAR (or its upgrades) to do well.

I prefer the SCARAB. Same damage, wicked RoF boost. That with extended mag and you will run the show. My current setup:

SCARAB: silencer, ext. mag
DSG-1: silencer, ext mag

Stealth enhance
Energy transfer
Loadout pro

When I'm not invisible, I'm killing, and I can shoot out of cloak with the scarab because @ 900 rps, I kill so quickly it's stupid. Energy goes to 0? Oh, energy transfer brings me back to 75! And apparently once it's level 3 it restores it fully. Owens cloak with a sniper and assault rifle which both don't give away my position when I fire?

This class is more win than Charlie Sheen's new cooking video!

More weapons!
I would like to see more weapons in this game, it would give it more power. Like in COD. But I still but most of all I really like Crysis2 the graphics are simply insane.
And for the record the SCAR is overpowered.

Same damage as what? The SCAR deals 30-25 and the SCARAB deals 24-20.

Basically the same damage over time, SCARAB deals it faster

Also, headshot multiplies dmg by 2.2 therefore both guns do 50+ dmg per headshot and thus a 2 shot kill. Again, faster is better in this situation.

I know for a fact that in battle proper, i wouldnt want my firepower reduced. lmao
deal out the most damage you can on yr enemy, he cant shoot back, its that simple to me, and here the car fits perfect, :-)

ScarAb cant be fit with an assault scope. And got greater recoil. Therefore is + and - to em.

Don't need an assault scope when you have a sniper as your secondary. And the recoil in this game is about as easy as pie to compensate for! I understand why the SCAR is so well loved but if this game was as tactical as it was intended to be, it wouldn't need balancing. The k-volt is amazing for 2 man fire teams because it completely depletes energy. L-tag isn't meant to be a 1v1 guns, it's simply support fire and is especially effective on crash site matches. That's the best part about clan and friend play in C2. It opens up SO many more play styles. The game truly shines when you play cooperatively

Similar DPS sure, but not the same damage. The SCAR drops people faster at range and even in range with torso shots. Also 20 x 2.2 does not equal a value at or over 50. The SCARAB takes 3 shots to the head to kill beyond max damage range.

TTKs-
Torso:
SCARAB 0.264 to 0.33
SCAR 0.255 all ranges

Arms:
SCARAB 0.33 to 0.396
SCAR 0.34 all ranges

Upper legs:
SCARAB 0.33 to 0.462
SCAR 0.34 to 0.425

Lower legs:
SCARAB 0.528 to 0.594
SCAR 0.51 to 0.595

Those are the facts. The SCAR is better for headshots, torso shots, arm shots and uses less ammo to kill somebody than the SCARAB does. SCAR > SCARAB. The ONLY advantage a SCARAB has over a SCAR is that it can use a silencer. But if you are using a silencer to drop your range you might as well be using the FELINE which kills faster anyway.

Sniper back up. Your entire argument is invalid because my sniper > scar at range. scar may work better for you, but it surely does not suit my play style at all.

The SCAR is fine. The Feline could probably do with a little boost, but the Kvolt is fine as it is; I just unlocked it today, and kicked some ass in the next couple of games. Kvolt + Extended mag = hilarity.

The SCAR line are generalists; that, and the fact they're the first unlock, is why they are so popular, not because they're OP - I've been killed just as many times by SMGs as I have by ARs, it's all in how you play.
