Okay, so my present dilemma (easily solved, right?) is that I've been traveling with J'Zargo, bro-ing it up between Khajiit mages - we got a good thing going, gotta stick together, I don't really want to break up the set. Thing is, though, my Dovahkiin may be happy, but I like Marcurio and is it really too much to ask that I, as an integral part of Kishiira's existence (what with being her creator, and everything), get mine as well? I made him my steward at Lakeview Manor so at least I have some claim to him beyond the 500 gold (yes, I know he's marriageable but I tried that and it transformed him from a snarky flirt into a bland heap of tepid mush, so until someone fixes that my Amulet of Mara is staying OFF) but it's just not the same as having him actually be around.

Anyway I tried Companion Share & Recruit but a: it added extraneous functionality that I never bothered to use, and b: followers recruited through CSR don't use their "follower" dialogue if they have any - in my situation this is terrible, because Marcurio without dialogue is pointless, and J'Zargo without dialogue makes me feel like he's plotting to kill me because he's a cat and all. Does someone who's been around here for longer than I have know of a multiple-followers mod that doesn't make a whole lot of sweeping changes* and lets followers keep their dialogue?


*With the possible exception of taking away all their area spells, so they don't kill each other
