[REQ] Multiple Followers

Post » Tue May 22, 2012 3:43 am

"Looks like you have someone with you already".

Now that the CK is out, can someone please make that line obsolete?

A real, unlimited follower mod with full functionality for each individual follower (ie. full access to inventory, obeys wait/leave commands, etc all w/out having to use console tricks).

Is it possible yet?

I never had any information myself about how many followers you can have. But the other days I saw a youtube video where someone was moving around and around 3 to 4 other people where following him.. dont know if this people were followers or part of a quest where you work with a group of npcs..

Never had an issue in Oblivion. Don't think it will be here with custom companions.

Bethesda designed the game so that you can have only 1 follower and 1 dog with you at anytime.

The exception to that is a quest follower (ie if you already have a follower on an active quest, then you can also have the 1 follower and 1 dog).

All the follower mods out right now either force the second follower into the dog slot or unlimited followers, but have broken follower functionality.

Having full-functionality multiple followers will be important, IMO, especially when increased spawn mods come out and you absolutely need more than, say, Lydia and Meeko the dog for help.

war in skyrim is one such mod. I tinkered with it before the ck came out and if you didn't have someone to bail you out when you got knocked down by ice bolts in that mod, you were in trouble. For me personally, i just like the feel of a group of adventures trecking through the wilderness looking for fame and fortune. I'm really hoping someone can get this modded if I can't figure it out.

Seen one where the player had 7 but they were the dog the npc companion, a quest character and the rest were summons and or animates.

The follower system has fundamentally changed since Oblivion.

This new [WIP] at the workshop is what I'm talking about: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=8469

But the author is running into many problems.
