"Must Have" features you expect for the next gen con

Post » Sun Feb 10, 2013 11:13 am

Things that should be implemented or I will be VERY disappointed.

-full 1080p.
This is what I mainly want. Games being <720p and scaled up is just not acceptable.
-Same day digital release
not really for me since I have data caps where I live, but for everyone else in the country, it would be great.
-Support for gaming headsets.
The 360 has absolutely horrible support for "gaming headsets". USB headset support would be a great addition.

What do you think are "must have" features that would greatly disappointing if they were excluded.

P.S. I know PCs are king/don't have these problems/console peasants/blah blah blah

Yo dude, 360 does have USB headset support. I use turtle beaches and can verify :P

My main thing I want about the hardware is to have a lot more room, I don't want to hear about any "oh we didn't have room for that, we would have had to axe some features to implement that" for a long while.

I really hope they have backwards compatibility too, that's going to be key for me, both for physical and digital games.

Backwards compatibility with your huge stock of 360/PS3 games.

Worth the money if you use a controller exclusively, and frankly my dear, don't give a damn about motion sensors.

Seriously? I bought turtle beach x12 about a week ago and have to plug the headset into usb (for power) then either the headphone port on my monitor or their ghetto (using AV and hdmi at same time) for the sound.
