Because I pre-ordered off of Steam.

Also, anyone know if Windows Live-enabled controllers are compatible for the PC version? I'm hearing a lot of complaints about the UI concerning mouse work, so I would like to experiment with an actual controller before falling back to the mouse and keyboard.

Bethesda worked too hard for me to pirate this game. From what I'm seeing, it was well worth the $60 I paid for it.
