Hi,

I'm one of the few guys running Fallout 3 & NV under wine. Runs nicely. The question I've got is: When the Mysterious Stranger appear in VATS, his sound bit doesn't play, unlike in Fallout 3. That takes some fun of it.

Anyone else got this "problem"?

What sound is he supposed to play? Having never played FO3 fully, F:NV's mysterious stranger is all I know and the only sound he's ever made is shooting.

The same tunelet you get if you have and draw the Mysterious Magnum or holster it.

Bump for this issue. Perhaps there is a mod to fix it?

I swore I heard it earlier but when he popped up today I didn't hear it.... Apparently on the console there is also some music that plays if you get it on with the robot which is missing on pc

i play on 360 and i think i remember only a weird "drilling" sound like someone in a garage was taking the lugnuts off a car's wheel

I spawned this gun and it does make this sound when drawing it or holstering it. I have not used this Perk in the game, but maybe he is drawing the weapon before he "shows" up. I dunno.
