My list of girls name: (I keep them in reserve to pull out of a hat if I ever have kids and it's happens to be a girl) *clears throat* April Summer (named after a teacher I had elementary school that died in a car accident) Emerald (Emmy) Sapphire Turquoise Amethyst Ruby Diamond Kimberlin Applejack Twilight Sparkle Rainbow Dash Alyx Zoey Rochelle Judith Adda (with 2 Ds) Rose of Sharon Miranda Leela Xena
Come on, I'd rather be named any of my coo-coo names than Maybe if I was woman.
Escpecialy one of the gemstones, Twiligt, Adda, Miranda, or Rose of Sharon.
i'd strongly advise against even considering that for a second more. anyway, in some cultures name is very important. a lot of importance and emphasis on the name and a lot of weight is put on the name. and for a good reason: name is for the rest of one's life, it will have farther-reaching consequences than just here and now when the person is born and named. every name is a word with a meaning. and instant associations people have with those meanings or words. and i'd not want to be living a life of people calling me "weak" or something.

Making a unique name tends to...not work so well if it's done poorly, which means you must rigorously make sure it's not some one night drunken thought. Also, Maybe is a terrible choice. I'd hate my parents if I was named "Maybe" or "Accident."
@Comrade Dispenser, I'm surprised none of the CMCs are in that list.
