Nat Type : Moderate. : Crysis

Is there a option to make this open or does it say moderate for everyone?

I believe it goes by your nat type, you need to check what it currently is. Nat Type 2 will normally lead to an open nat type on a p2p server

its not like that for everyone mines open you got to start your computer open your modem program and disable your firewalls but make sure you have a good antivires program on your computer

yeah theres some type of issue people were saing the same thing during the demo. Im on Nat 2 but Crysis 2 says moderate NAT

I am experiencing this problem also. Crysis 2 shows my NAT as moderate. But I have the proper IP address for my PS3 in the DMZ of my router. Additionally, COD Black Ops shows my NAT as Open.

I am also experiencing this. Only Crysis 2 is showing NAT as moderate. All other games are showing NAT as open. I'm on Nat Type 2. PS3 is under DMZ, with UPnP enabled. I'm also having a tremendous amounts of problems connecting to servers right now. I keep getting the "Network connection lost" error. But once I am connected and the game launches, the connection is solid, no problems, and no lag.

mines moderate as well. have no clue as to what that does for me gameplay.

Same here....my PS3 is on the DMZ and still reports Moderate NAT in the game.

Based on the horrible MP lag, it appears that their network code svcks! Back to the drawing board Crysis!!

Generally 2 or 3 yellow bars....with one player always full green bars

Mine said the same, moderate. I've never had that and I'm running a wired connection. I wouldn't jump the gun just yet. See if it's something on their end. If you want to go ahead this is the best site I have found.

My nat is type 2 and crysis says "moderate". But is this really a problem?

Not too much of a problem. It means you can only play with people with a moderate and open Nat Type. Its more of a problem if it is strict, which means you can only join games with people with open Nats.

But Crytek should respond with why so many people have moderate Nat type in this game, when they have Open Nat in all other multiplayer hames

Lucky. My ps3 is on nat type 2 and It wont even let me connect to a server at all. it says initializing squad and then I get an error. Ive had this game a week and havnt played
