On my first playthrough i sided with mr house, almost completely ignoring the other factions. On my second playthrough i have decided to side with the NCR. I was just wondering if you even have to talk to mr house to do the NCR storyline. If so, can i just take the chip from benny and not give it to mr house? If i were to give the plat chip to Mr house would i still be able to side with the NCR? Any legitimate answers are welcome.

yeah you can do a few house quests...but then you must stop to keep siding with ncr and the ncr instruct you on what to do with house from there

oh and question did you kill benny in the tops? if so did you win all their money first? haha

No i have not confronted benny at the tops yet. Havnt even stepped a foot in vegas on this char yet. Gotta some king quests 1st. Btw is there anyway to get the kings and ncr to settle their differences? And if so, does it require a large speech check?

yeah you can, after doing quests from king they start talking about food and then you get an optional quest where you go talk to some major that hands out food? you have to do the optional part in order to resolve it. i think the quest is about two locals getting thumped by NCR troopers...but no speech needed just do the optional for some major. woman. after you talk to her she tells you she sent a messanger to king so you have to go back to his doorman...err pacer i think his name is. confront him and he will run off...talk to king and go stop a shootout.
