I am trying to use my NCR Radio. It worked one time. I think my trooper died (or got lost) at some point. When I try to recruit another trooper, I get a message about my NCR rep being too low and that NCR Support has been withdrawn. Is there a way to get another NCR trooper?

Raising your rep with NCR should do it.

How do I do that? I mean at some point I must have had enough rep to use it in the first place. How does it go down?

How do I know what rep I currently have? I don't see NCR when I view my reputations in the pip boy.

I'm not really sure. I figured I got it as a reward at some point when I was doing quests. Only been able to use it once. I don't see NCR rep in my pip boy so maybe it's a bug.

Yea I'm not sure. Ncr should be listed under the general section of the pipboy where all the faction rep is. As for the radio well I have it but I've never used it before. I tried once but it said something like I was out of the area or something?

If you're wearing NCR gear, it'll mess with your rep, which will have a knock on effect on the Radio.

Wow.. you're right! I was wearing NCR armor. I don't understand. Wouldn't wearing NCR armor increase your rep? I find it strange that wearing NCR armor would prevent me from calling for NCR backup.. lol

wearing NCR armour messes with your rep because they didn't give you any armour. Therefore, to be wearing it you either looted it off a dead NCR or stole it.

Actually, wearing NCR armor sets your rep to Neutral or Liked with them (not sure exactly which) and you're treated as such; if you need better than Liked, then wear something else (not another disguise though) and try again, assuming your natural reputation is higher.

Ahh that makes sense. Yes, I did loot the NCR armor off of a corpse.
