A Neat Idea for Online Mutiplaying

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 1:49 am

Not sure if there's a thread on this or not but I found this artical about how some online mutiplayers games deal with cheaters---> http://games.yahoo.com/blogs/plugged-in/max-payne-3-innovative-way-dealing-cheating-181929439.html . Frankly I'm all for it, if people are going to hack and cheat why not send them to "Cheater's Limbo" and let them duke it out or better yet----ban them for good. I mean it's annoying when you're online playing games like Halo or Call of Duty and other players are boosting, or using there secondary account to block others from getting to them in games like Infection or even glitching. So what's your guys opionion on this.

The difficulty lies on identifying them not punishing them.

Some games have a viewer replay (Like Call of Duty:MW3 or Halo Reach) that Devs. uses when you file a claim on a person for cheating. You can even use this feature yourself and once you find the person whoes cheasting you should be able to get their gamer tag and report them. I never done it myself but I know some that's used it.
