Necklace of Poison ResistanceImmunity

Post » Mon Aug 06, 2012 3:34 am

Where can I find one (so I can disenchant it)?

I checked UESP to no avail, Necklaces of Disease Immunity show up extremely rarely in general goods stores, but never in all my 500+ hours across 3 playthroughs have I ever seen a Necklace of Poison Resistance/Immunity.

Is there anywhere or anyone who has this on them as a guaranteed item?

Same goes for Waterbreathing. Sure, I have Volsung, but I'd rather not have to chance my apparel so often. Weird, I know, but I'm not too concerned with making ultimate armour, functionality is more important to me.

What level are you at?

I've heard Poison Resistance enchantments are bugged. They won't appear until a certain level an after you've surpassed the level range that triggers them they'll never appear again.

I literally just found a Necklace of Disease Immunity in Radiant Raiment in Solitude. It was crazy expensive but I quickly snatched it up due to it's rarity.

I have 230+ hours and that was the first one I've ever seen. Never saw a Poison resistance one yet either. Unfortunately I don't think I can be much help.

As for Waterbreathing, can you disenchant the item you have it on and then enchant a ring or necklace with it?

Level 76, currently. Just Archery (86), Two Handed (28) and Alchemy (30) left to level up. I'll be taking the Snakeblood perk, but I'd prefer to slap an extra 50% resistance on my armour and make myself immune. Those Falmer Warmongers can really stack up the damage fast otherwise, even with my 800+ Armour Rating (Yes, I know about the cap). Other than that, I intend to stack up a bit of Magic Resistance, full Disease Immunity, faster Magicka Regen and Waterbreathing on my Armour. That'll make Vampires and Dragons easier, any extra space could be used for anything left over.

I'm a Breton and an Agent of Mara btw, so my default Magic Resistance is 40% currently, which is why I don't need an incredible amount of Mag Res Enchantments.

Even if I could, I'm never disenchanting a unique artifact like Volsung. It's priceless imo.

They are very rare, and very random. Not sure if they are high level related as I picked one up at level 16 (I think). BTW, there are two that I've seen; one is 50% immunity and the other is 100%!

1. Go to Raidiant Rainment in Solitude
2. Check shop
3. If you don't get what you want then save your game and murder the shopkeeper
4. Load save and check shopkeepers new inventory
5. Repeat 2-4 until complete

I figured that's why you hadn't yet.

And I'm the exact same way. It's even hard for me to disenchant and destroy regular items.

Radiant Raiments sells enchanted Jewelry?

I always used to just try Bits and Pieces next door.

I'll check it out.

Yep, that's where I found my Disease Immunity necklace Just depends if you're lucky I guess.

I also bought a necklace from them that raises my Smithing level 25%. Very useful.

Usually the Pawned Prawn was lucky for me. I guess I'll have to start travelling to Solitude more often then. I still prefer Riften though and it's wealthy Thieves Guild Fences. It really is a great place to sell your excess loot.

Golum-Ei becomes a fence after one of the Thieves Guild quests(can't remember the name of said quest). He's the Argonian that sits in the left corner of the Winking Skeever. Not sure if he could help you out any.
