its a long story but i hope to make it as short as possible.

i bought a Rage "region3" and i live in a region2 zone. the code that came with it is not working (Wasteland Sewer Missions). so i hope if someone with an opposite scenario would like to exchange or swap code with me i would be thankful. i have contacted Bethesda about a week a go and i didn't hear from them since then. for some reason all the Rage games i have found in so many different shop are region3. i have waited for about 2 weeks with no new release so i went on and bought the region3. the fact that Bethesda didn't response to my e-mail which i have sent about a week a go makes me worry about the kind of support when Skyrim is finally released.

I have bought the game as NEW and im on PS3.

Same thing happened to me. I pre-ordered mine from amazon.com and quickly found out the codes wouldn't redeem on my New Zealand PSN account. The solution is making a new PSN account for country you bought the game from, In my case USA. Then just redeem the codes on the new account and download them. I know it a pain in the butt, but I don't think you will have much of a chance swapping codes with anyone.

to be honest with you i thought about that as an alternative solution but then i said maybe Bethesda will have a better solution!! i was wrong.

anyway, i have finished the game. if i created a different account, will i still be able to use my old save files?

and another question, i have finished the game by doing direct missions only. Now im woundering, is there any thing easy to miss like a secret boss or mission/cave/dungeon or the like? i thought at some point of the game i will be given a map!!

Well the problem is that this is a very common issue with getting games from places like amazon. Most codes are generally region locked.

Yes and I'm pretty sure you can continue with ur old save files once you redeem the codes on a different psn account.

Now to answer your last question… I have not finished the game myself yet (I am currently in the dead city) and I don't think you wouldn't of missed anything too special. You would of missed some fun side missions though.
