I read that you can pray at the Shrine of Talos in Malkreth. Where the heck is Malkreth?

Something tells me that devamping yourself will be a bit harder than that. On a different note, does anyone know how to become a vampire? During the Potema quest, I sat and let the vampires attack me until my follower killed them, but I never got infected.

I read there's a couple options to cure. One involves a quest and the other is through Talos. I've never heard of Malkreth though?

I'm pretty sure Malkreth is a major city. It should be already marked on your map.

Vampirism is very hard to cure. its been like that in all the Elder Scrolls games.

I suggest talking to people, innkeepers, or if you can.. Vampires.

if your not a full blown Vampire yet then seek any shrine of any god (not daedric shrines) theres 2 in Whiterun.

If your looking to become a vampire, just spend a long time around them, ive contracted the disease like 8 times as an Argonian.
they should infect you at some point dont just slaughter them

Actually... curing vampirism in this game has been the easiest of them all... but to give you an exact answer..... http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Vampirism

Down at the bottom tells you how. Cheers.

Thanks! So instead of doing that quest all you have to do is pray at the Talos shrine?

IF its still just the vapiris yada yada...... then you can pray to the shrine and it will cure you... in that case... just drink a cure disease potion... and poof, all gone. edit: Or if you have the cure disease spell... that works too...

If you are already a vampire there is only TWO WAYS out.... become a werewolf via random rare werewolves in the wild or the companions quests... OR the quest guy that literally takes one step to do.... the quest was much easier imo.

Thanks. How do I know what stage I am? I'm already a vamp but that guide says there's 4 stages. Also, I've been exploring for nearly 50 hours and have yet to see werewolves in the wild. I fought one through a side quest earlier though.

You can tell what stage you are by your frost resistance and powers....

More easily the frost resistance.... You are good to go as long as you are below 100%.... if you are at that... which is stage 4's resistance rating.... then dont go anywhere NEAR a town.... and that dang shadows spell doesnt work for crap in or around a town since the higher level guards will just "lul wut?" you while you think you are invis.

Also, before doing the quest... I recommend feeding down to at least 50% frost res.... because I was at 75% (stage 3) and when I waited for dawn for him to perform the ritual I went to stage 4 and he attacked me... causing me to load a save and feed.

edit: best places to feed at level 4 are the random farms and mills you run across on the country side without guards patrolling them.

Thanks a lot. I have a lockpicking perk where I can't be seen while picking a lock. Will guards know if i'm feeding on someone if I break into their houses unseen?

To be very honest... I've been harassed anywhere there is a guard to feed if I was at stage 4... I found it very frustrating... so... I just went for the easy prey out in the country. But.. if you can pick the lock without being detected and the person is asleep in the house... then you are golden. Bleed 'em dry...
