Okay guys,
So i just bought Skyrim today. i purposely bought a physical copy due to the fact they my download limit is low and i would probably get capped if i downloaded it.
I saw a few tutorials to install steam games from a disk, but they dont work for me, it always just tries downloading the game.
Whats the point of even marketing a physical copy if you're just gonna have to download it anyway? That just seems stupid to me

Can anyone please help ?

I have had a couple of Steam games try to do this, try uninstall/deleting local content for Skyrim, closing Steam, and running the installer as admin from the DVD again.
That worked for me with Fallout:NV.

alright problem solved. i tried that tutorial before launthian and it wasnt working, so restarted my pc and now it is. thanks alot guys
