Hi !!

Im stuck with a very weird problem, if i train smithing in skyrim and make 1 item as a iron dagger i will go 2 levels up even after patch! this is very weird.
If i delete the gamedata and the update and reinstall it then smithing is normal, but if i turn off my ps3 and later turn it on and play skyrim again its the same story..

Please need help i want to play this game legit and not with powerleveling!!

if u can fix this tnxx!

Are you a low level? Because it will always level up fast starting out.

Are you equipping items that boost smithing?
Are you under a standing stone that increases skills faster?

Are you using 1.05 or are you using 1.01?
I never encountered it but with the first few patches smithing rose quicly. With 1.04 (I think) that was changed to make the GP value of an item the basis for the XP gained.
It sounds like you are using the game in an unpatched state. As for how it's reverting I don't know as that is supposed to be impossible.

May be obvious but I take it you are saving the game when it is behaving normally and using that save to reload not using continue or an autosave?

I don't know how you did it but your PS3 seems to have reversed the patch to smithing. Instead of taking longer it is taking nothing at all. It is clearly not working as intended and if you are not using any glitches you may need to go directly to Beth's A-CS troubleshooting people. Good luck there they are clueless.

i think the update is not patching all mu bugs, only if i delete the gamedata and update then restart the game it works good. but then im closimg my ps3 and its the same storyy i need a fix so bad lol, tnx for help !

I would suggest you try deleting the game, the patch, and reinstalling. Then restart with a fresh character. If the new character has the same inverse smithing patch Go back to my first point above. A-CS troubleshooting. Frequently once a bug hits a game it will not be fixed by patches as it's in the save file for the character.
