We need slo mo kills for archers!

Slo mo cut scene haters need not apply.

I really liked the fallout 3 style "following the bullet". It would be cool to follow the arrow's flight to the enemy sometimes!

Great idea! Hear hear.

Why not magic too? Sync kill animations based on the element you got the killing blow with: the enemy freezing and shattering or being incinerated, etc.

HAH! I was thinking the same thing, it's like why only for melee kills?

And make it so you can disable it, enough haters out there.

This. My new mage char misses those cinematic kills.

Magic should receive some cut scene lubbin' too :)

I can see, however, the technical difficulty in achieving this, since it might be hard to calculate immediately upon release of the arrow, if it will hit the target (since they move). But I'm sure the creative geniuses over there can figure it out :D

They did manage it with Fallout. Though bullets didn't have that heavy arc to calculate.
Anyone know if they worked with the throwing daggers in New Vegas?

ALL my kills are in slow motion as an archer, I don't know what you're talking about :P

Take the 50% slow time perk under Archery? Nothing is more satisfying than "Wait for it... Wait for it... BAM! Shot in the head."

IIRC, FO3 only did this in VATS mode, which is non-interactive. I don't recall every getting anything of the sort when firing manually.

It's pretty satisfying decapitating, I'd like to see an arrow pierce someone's throat, or a mage blowup someone's head with electricity.

It worked in Fallout 3 because, if memory serves, you could only get that bullet follow if you were using V.A.T.S. Last I checked, Skyrim doesn't have an equivalent system. I'd love to see something like it, but there's still something deeply satisfying about creeping up to some guy after you've one-shotted him and seeing the arrow go right through his eye, or throat, or heart.

I can live with that.

I would be fine with this if they actually gave us the option to turn off the slow mo kill scenes. It's absurd that there is no option, and the only way to get rid of it is to mod it on the pc.

because it's already there. it's a perk u can slow down time u just hold down the zoom after u shoot the arrow and it's still in slow motion until you release

I would love some kill animations for arrows. I actually had to roll a weapon just because I wanted to feel epic due to these.
