I made a imperial character who i started to build towards a battle mage-ish charcter, but her dps totally svcks. I was wondering if she was savalageble, she is lvl 10 an have following perks.

Destro (35): novice and apprintince casting, 1/2 frost and dual casting
Conj(25): novice casting
Resto(32): novice casting
Heavyarmour (39) : 1/5 jugg
One handed(33) : 2/5 first perk and the perk which lesseb heavy attacks stamina costs with 25%
Enchantment (33)

Armour rating around 97 with some magicka regen enchants
Axe with 15 dmg

Latlely i have been dieing alot but i have be able to defeat most foes after changeing tactics etc, but then i did a quest for the mage guild where i got to fight a dwemer construct which i cant beat. Also are bound weapons good?

So i was wondering what i can do to improve my char, what skills to improve ( i really like the playstyle of one handed weapns and magic) or are my items bad?

Never had this problem in oblivion =P but i really need some advice.

THe stronger attributes you want have till you are much higher in level.

Depends on style of battle mage. You can put it into heavy armor but will loose attributes of matery cloth for very fast magika regenration and addtional damage as well as the dugeon set that gives you defense- so you are trading off regular armor for magical early on.

You may want to create a palidin build, with high level restoration, sword skill, armor, and toss a magical damage base in if not enchanting your swords. I myself combines it for summoning magical swords and using the recast gear so I can recast it rather then wait. Then tank out mobs and and heal myself.
