hi :)
i have a question do i need to unpack the bsa files in the data folder in order for the mod to work or i just simply drag the mod files ( textures ,meshes ,etc ) into the data folder ? in oblivion i remember that i was able to excess the main textures and meshes folders without unpacking them so why they made it like this in skyrim ?

thanks ^^

You don't have to unpack anything to use mods. You probably want to unpack it if you plan on making mods, though, but that doesn't have to be in the Data folder (I keep my unpacked files on another drive to keep everything clean).

It works just like in Oblivion. You had to extract the BSAs there aswell to access the files in able to modify them yourself, but you do not need to extract the BSAs just to install mods.
