Did this guy always have so much gold to barter with? He has over 20,000. The only other person to have even half that amount (riverwood trader + investment perk) might be a glitch, I'm not sure. This is awesome, I'm about to sell master neloth all sorts of stuff that will inevitably annoy him.

Is he supposed to have that much gold?

Mine has 3k. Have never seen 20,000 on any person. So I assume a bug.

hes a telvanni wizard which means hes mad as a vegetarian bosmer and more powerfu then the most powerful lich he probably conjures up the stuff when hes bored.

If you're seeing it with the Riverwood guy, yes it is a beneficial investment perk glitch for you. Apparently it's random. (For instance, in a game where I had Invest, Riverwood didn't have 20K but a couple of others did.)

Riverwood usually has between 10 and 13 thousand. Neloth has 20750. Only time I've ever seen anyone with that much. I'm not mad, this bug can stay for as long as it likes.

In my game he has over 50,000... Unfortunately a paralysis staff makes him hostile

Edit: I don't have the investment perk.

A similar thing happened to me. I had the left side of speech fully perked, and I went to Babette one day to see she had 25,000 gold. I came back later and it went back to the usual few thousand.

I quess beth made him rich, so i quess its not bug.

Did you train with him at any point? I trained with him awhile ago and noticed he had 22,000 when I visited him much later.

The dude is PIMP and RICH. You should have seen his old tower, Tel Naga, in Morrowind, and he was the Master of the largest Telvanni city on Vvardenfell.

If you have the poisned perk, try slipping a paralyize potion in his pocket when you are undetected. Should work.
