Well, the 11.10 drivers just got released today, and guess what, I get passed the asteroid levelling the planet, however -- yes I said 'however' -- once you start inside the Ark Pod, every texture is appears to be blue, pink, purple, red, etc. So, the game is still broken for some of us on PC; still NOT impressed...and of course no response from id Software like usual!

So, when is update 2 coming?

I couldn't load any saved games or even start a new game (I can't believe I subjected nyself to THAT intro movie yet AGAIN) with this latest 11.10 driver.

I'm pleased and mightily relieved to report that fully uninstalling this latest 11.10 package and reinstalling the unofficial 11.10 preview 3 driver allows me to play the game again.

I'm on a mission now to finish it and banish it forever.

I'm waiting to try the DNA-AMD 11.10 drivers when they go final, they are a community modded version of the official drivers, see if I can play the game then, may be another week or so until they go final and then I'll try the game again.

That's the one I'm using now. It allows me to play Rage but I have some minor graphical quality reduction in both Crysis Warhead and Crysis 2 for some reason. I also get the "Driver has stopped responding and has recovered" message if I try to load up any presets. If I want to make changes to AF, AA etc I have to do it manually or the driver crashes and reverts back to the "apllication Setting" preset default. This 11.10 p3 DNA driver also works very well with BF3.

Well now I have waited for either driver updates or a patch since I was able to download the game October 7... I still cant play the game, it crashes after 5min or so, I have only entered the garage one time to then again have the game crash with an atioglxx.dll error. I don't know if this is an error from ATi or from ID software. But either way I'm pretty pissed that I'm not able to play the game that I bought and was released, almost a month ago.. I'm sure I wont buy an ID software game ever again...

It's running flawlessly here, with the new official 11.10's. It was running fine before with the preview drivers. Now it's a lot smoother.

Running new 11.10 on a HD 6950. It does run better, I'm averaging 15ish FPS whereas before I'd be lucky to get 10. Image pop-in is barely noticeable and no texture corruption.

I completed the Rage singleplayer on the preview 2 and 3 drivers so I don`t care that much anymore. I want Battlefield 3 to run better in the multiplayer (there the game hangs on on Ultra settings) so I will for sure try the final 11.10 drivers. I still feel sorry for everyone who can`t play Rage as it`s a really cool game.

I thought I'd just chime in. I've been getting great performance @ 60fps 1080p... until the 11.10 official driver. It's all blue for me to, with or without AA and AF.
