Enjoy! These look pretty cool.

Loving the Argonian one but the Khajiit one looks a little silly what with the cat mask and the over-sized flourishes. That crescent moon could be smaller. Orc looks...fine.

I'm also a fan of the Argonian armor there.

The Argonian Armor is one I like. Interesting but more toned down than the others, which just try too hard for the cool factor imo.

Agreed, they need to reel in the "SO COOL" thing with their designs a bit. Even top-level armor can be toned down and still look awesome, look at LOTRO armor designs. They are, dare I say, almost perfect.

Practical AND awesome.

Granted they don't always translate well in LOTRO's outdated graphics engine but still, the intent is there.

I love that the argonian heavy armor isn't plate armor at all, pretty much stick to the lore, isn't it?

sweet, so now my favorite heavy armor is the Argonian by far, followed by the Dunmer one. Third place goes to the Bosmer.

Yay Dunmer win! Except for that ugly shredder helmet, that thing has got to go...

Yeah a perfect example that needs to be toned down a lot is the Dunmer heavy armor concept.

In fact, except for the Redguard, Breton and Argonian armor concepts. The others leave me completely non-plussed.

The two things that bother me across the board are 1. the size of the helmets: they pretty much all look like bobble-heads with chibi helmets on. And 2. the thickness of the boarders/rims/hems. They remind me of the shoulder armor for Space Marines in Warhammer 40k. They are WAY too thick.

The Khajiit helmet, yeah. That one makes me laugh. The others look about right to me personally though

There is a bit of a disconnect between the proportions of the concept art helmets and what ends up in-game. From what we've seen publicly from videos and screenshots (ahem), the helmet proportions got all kind of screwed. Every piece of headgear looks too big and needs to be scaled down.

The Khajiit helmet...I cannot really comment on why, but I can say that I don't mind it much. I am not talking about the concept art itself.

Using purely released information so far. I will say that I don't like most of the helmets I have seen. Some just look stupid and not because they are trying to hard to look epic.

I like these armors. http://elderscrollsonline.com/en/media/screenshots/619 Probably because the helmet is absent lol.

I don't mind these, but they are hoods, not helmets. http://elderscrollsonline.com/en/media/screenshots/573

These are fine. http://elderscrollsonline.com/en/media/screenshots/557

I don't like these.

http://elderscrollsonline.com/en/media/screenshots/325 This does not look like the Ordinator armor from Morrowind and manages to rid itself of the parts I felt made it cool. Clearly an opinion, just like the rest of my post. Jaw is too thick too. This is what it looked like in Morrowind. http://i.imgur.com/bR6tytl.jpg

Spoiler
LMFAO! I found a drawing I did in the first page's search results. Lol wtf? I typed in Ordinator Armor concept.

Search results- https://www.google.com/search?q=Ordinator+armor+concept&rlz=1C1SKPL_enUS396US397&espv=210&es_sm=122&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=S3uWUuaND4ThoASg-YKIBg&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1366&bih=666#imgdii=_

Weird...

http://elderscrollsonline.com/en/media/screenshots/317 Don't like the helmet at all. The horns are laughably big.

I don't remember which other ones are 'safe' or not so I am just using official ones.

Agree 100%

Check out the thick-as-heck borders on that ESO Ordinator armor, especially on the crotch-flap, it looks like shiny rubber. And that helmet is laughably big and not smooth enough. Then again I like that idea that it's like generation 1 Ordinator armor and the one we see in Morrowind is like generation 5 or whatever improvements have been made in 800 years.

I like the idea that it is an earlier generation of ordinator armor as well. Iirc I was the one of the ones who proposed that when we first saw that concept. I could be wrong there. However, it doesn't have what made the concept awesome and doesn't really look like something that would evolve into the Ordinator concept we see later on. Especially when a group like the Orcs, which has many more generations, produces something that looks identical to what we saw in Skyrim. My main gripe is the face though. That shouldn't change at all. It is supposed to be modelled after Nerevar's face. Not exactly something that should change, especially given that I really doubt Almalexia would forget how it looks.

This is of course a really minor gripe.

I actually love the Khajiit's look. And the Argonian is left-handed.

Give me my bonemold, chitin, morrowind-style daderic, skyrim-style ebony, and I'll be a happy camper.

I love the way the argonian and khajiit armor looks though, thoroughly impressed.
