new armor dlc

I notice there is a lack of choice in armor you can wear through the various stages of the game, especially in heavy armor. How many of you would like to see a small hearthfire size elf dedicated to adding more armor choices? Perhaps morrowind armor for dark elves, medievalesq high rock armor for bretons? And especially armor you'd expect to see from hammerfell. I think it would open up tons more playability to the game.

I wouldn't mind a simple armor pack which adds new armor/clothes/robes without any quests or anything. They'll just be added to your smithing menu and pop up in shops. Even if its just a new style of Steel armor, ebony or whatever.

well... people on PC have this but not the rest of us playing on consoles.

Morrowind had Troll Bone armor. There's something to think about Bethesda!

If you're talking about more, I'm ALWAYS for more.

Heck, I'd even be happy with just some new versions of existing armor.

Like maybe some with leggings and a cloak for cold as hell Skyrim?

expansions usually have armor included in with them.

If the next dlc is in Orsinium then I expect a rare set of Orcish made from ebony will be included.

Otherwise I'd like to see more race related apparel for the races that have none.

some I'd like to see are..
Breton wizards robes would be ace.
Dunmer bonemold
Nordic (chain)mail (I know we have Hold Guard & Stormcloak armors but they are uniforms)
Argonian Dreugh armor
Imperial Adamantium armor
Altmer robes (not Thalmor as again that is a uniform)

we have Hammerfell Garb, Orcish armor, Elven armor & Glass armor so they are covered.

I would happily accept more armour dlc if it was free. You know, a way to reward those of us that purchased this game legitimately and who continue to support the company by purchasing larger dlc.

Rather than rewarding us with DRM and other hassles (hassles pirates don't need to give a damn about), it's about time devs began looking after those of us that get screwed over continuously by being milked for every last piece of gold we have.

Not really. We don't have both armor and clothing reflecting all of these cultures, which is something I think we need.

It's also bad to have it be a one-size fits all approach for the armor throughout regions in terms of style. Orcish armor in Skyrim should be a little different than in Orsinium which would be different than in Morrowind etc. Ideally, there'd be slight differences in styles between the strongholds too.

I doubt we'll get multiple apparel for each race as outfits are limited to a certain degree. It'll be nice to have hundreds of different suits but it all takes programming etc.

I think racial apparel tends to be based upon a race's stats. i.e. a Dunmer, Argonians & Bosmer would use light armor and an Orsimer or Imperial would have heavy armor as that is the apparel best suited to their stats.

Redguards, Bretons & Altmer would tend to have clothes or robes as opposed to armor as their racial stats has Alteration and no armor bonus.

I've been saying we need new armors and new versions of current armor (light/heavy). For some reason though I feel like I am still going to be wearing my same old stormcloak guard uniform.

I just think the choice in armor we have right now doesn't allow more replay value. For example if one wants to play an archer, you usually end up using thieves guild armor, even though you don't want to be a thief.

Yes, chainmail please.

Get a couple more artists in if the current ones at Beth have run out of ideas. Maybe give Capcom a call and see if they can borrow the ones who did the armor for Dragon's Dogma.
