hi again expert buggfinder is here.

when i create a new game the horses are on the way to helgen.. and when first horse turns to the LEFT all the others do the same and there is no road but a small mountain.. now my carriage and horse after this is stomping with heads in the mountain wall.. i got no mods installed or whatso ever. original game.. this svcks. so how do i fix this bug?

and steam svcks and skyrim svcks. think i sell the game to someone on tradera aka ebay. am bored to death by this now too buggy for me to handle. and waste my energy on stupid game i bet i could do better if i did learn to program a game. sourpuss is my middle name atm.

i did re install and restart i get same bug even after all this. after restart after reinstall and restart again again again same bug same bug..

Have you verified the game is not corrupted or missing data through Steam yet?

Verify your game cache in the properties of the game in Steam and then start again.

Also: are you using any mods? I wouldn't run a new game with any mods - even a developer mod - play it clean with only the most recent official patches applied (no unofficial patches either)

Also also: All else fails? I am a big fan of totally uninstalling, cleaning up your system (run all your antivirus and computer maintanence stuff (disc cleaner, defrag, etc)), and then do a clean fresh reinstall

I had the same problem, reinstall didn't help, so I just kept verifying integrity of the game cache (did it about a billion times...) and it finally fixed itself. No idea why or how.

Yeah, this really sounds more like a corrupted file on the user end rather than a game bug. If all else fails, just bypass the wagon ride. Unless you deleted all of your saved games, you should have the first automatically generated game save which starts as the Prisoner steps off the wagon in Helgen. You can simply start each new character from that save game instead of doing the wagon ride every time.

Verify your files. Have you changed your settings ini file at all? if you made a backup of it, restore that too.

One of the earliest patch versions screwed up the carriage similarly to what you describe.

Update the patch that you're running.
