New Dragon Ai ?

Sorry for the long post, but I wanted all the details known so a accurate opinion can be formed, plus Im just dang excited after that lol! xD

Not sure if this was added through Dawnguard, or through the MOD Deadly Dragons (which I use), but I just had 2 Deadly Dragons Spawn (I've set them to spawn every 2 hours of real time) and it just so happen to be as I had just arrived @ the Vampire Castle and was trying to shoot down some of those Birds that fly around there. I had swam out to loot one that fell in the Ocean and when I climbed onto a big rock, the Spawn happened. I know it was a Wyrm, and I believe the other was a Dracolitch (I am level 81 so I get all types). I used Dragonrend on the Dracolitch and then started swimming back to shore so he'd have a place to land, when I saw the 2nd Dragon (Wyrm) inbound. i stopped to watch as I thought it was funny how it was so close to the water, but still elegant not buggy (clipping or anything like that). It was just then I turned around to take a screenshot and head to shore, when the one I believe was a Dracolitch swooped down and scooped me up out of the water, flying me up into the air and then releasing me to basically my 1-hit death! This is where I'm amazed. Has anyone else experienced this? Until this moment I have only heard of it happening twice, and to NPC's. (The begining scene @ Helgen it occurs, and during the Quest "The Fallen" it occurs again to another NPC). I'm curious if this may have been an added feature by Dawnguard, since I know they added the Legendary Dragons and the other Dragon, and I've been using Deadly Dragons for almost 3 weeks now, had many many EPIC and long Dragon Battles but never seen this. Anyone else experience this?

Here is a link to the screenshot of the Dragon I believe is a Dracolitch. I assume Legendary Dragons look like the others, just tougher, but have yet to see one so for all I know it could be one. It's the Darker Dragon in the Background, you can see him as he's about to swoop down and grab me lol.

Just looked at your screenshot, very cool. Never heard of what you described, but I'm only at lvl 57 and have only experienced a few different dragons since lvl 50. I think that's great that you can be plucked out of the water by a dragon. That will make you change your swimming habits LOL.

I know as you progress in levels, you will encounter tougher dragons to fight. If Bethesda designed this, nice:)

i've never had it happen to me but I had heard about it before Dawnguard was released so I think it was in the original release.

I've had it happen with an Imperial soldier from those random groups you encounter on the road. I was having fun with a Frost dragon and a Blood dragon, both spewing frost so my Nord felt quite comfortable, and suddenly one of them takes a dive and scoops up one of them soldiers and launches him in the air. Pretty cool. But this power attack also happened to other people before Dawnguard, the chance is just very low. IIRC, you need to stand on on some sort of high ledge and your health should be low, so the dragon can finish you off.

I've always thought that could be why you'd see one occasionaly do a nose dive and sort of bounce off the ground, so maybe thats what was going on. next time a Dragon shows up I'm gonna jump in the water to see if it does it again and then never get in the water during a Dragon fight ever again lol. I've learned my lesson! Thanks for the replies xD
