A new feature for the next DLC

So with the release of Dawnguard, we get #SPOILERS# an undead dragon named Durnehviir. Bethesda made a good choice in having this particular dragon utilize interesting shout abilities. Along with Revered and Legendary Dragons the dragon numbers in the game have increased; which is good!

So, in our arsenal we have the ability to call either a Red Fire Dragon and/or an Undead Frost Necro Dragon. Both of which are good, but I was thinking we can do something different this time around with dragons.

Most people have speculated that the next DLC will be called "Hearth Fire" and it'll surround the Dwemer disappearance and the tomb of a Snow Elf Prince. These investigations have been rumored to take us to Morrowind. As we all should know, Morrowind is mostly engulfed in volcanic destruction. Little life can thrive there.. BUT dragons can survive there.

For our trip to Morrowind, our new DLC will point us in the direction of a named Legendary Dragon roosting on a particular large mountain in Morrowind. Villagers/travelers have been terrorized by this dragon for weeks and it's up to us to stop it. The chief of the village volunteers to help us stop it. So we kill this dragon and we absorb its soul. Nothing different about that, but after we do that, the village chief tells us that he found an egg.. Not just any kind of egg, but a DRAGON egg!

With this dragon egg, we either take it to the Blades or to The Grey beards and Paarthurnax (if he's still alive) after interesting dialogue the faction will take care of the egg for you. In a weks time it'll hatch. After being notified by courier that your faction discovered something marvelous, you go back and you find a bear sized baby dragon relaxing in your factions lair.

This new dragon acts like a dog, but it can do dragon like abilities like bite, fly, and do dragon shouts since the language and Thuum is a natural ability. So once you enjoy seeing the baby dragon, it'll be called Ved (Black) Mul (Strong) Kiir (Child) Vedmulkiir (Black Strong Child) because it's a black dragon that resembles a legendary dragon, an ancient dragon, and Alduin put together, it's a young dragon, and it's been noted by Esbern or Paarthurnax to be born with a significantly powerful Thuum.

After the baby dragon is named, you are tasked to teach it how to fight. This is where it really gets interesting because you have to kill 9 dragons and have the soul absorbed by the Vedmulkiir. It will automatically absorb the dragon soul and each time it absorbs a soul, you are to "activate" the baby dragon and teach it a word of a shout that you want it to use in battle.

For example:

Vedmulkiir has 9 dragon souls. You want to teach it, "Fire Breath Shout", "Frost Breath Shout", and "Drain Vitality Shout". You teach all of the words to the dragon and it shall use all three shouts.

The quest is over for now.. But you still have to raise the dragon to be the dragon it's meant to be.

The features of this baby dragon are:

The size of a bear, can fly around about 60 ft off the ground, can run, melee like the older dragons, do shouts like older dragons (after you teach it shouts). Health, Magicka, Stamina, and damage is capped to an Ancient Dragons strength if your level is 78 and above (the same level you need to casually see Legendary Dragons), can do a tackle finisher on humanoid enemies and rip their heads off with its teeth. Basically acts like a dog so you can activate it to make it stop, follow you, or send it back home to your chosen baby dragon guardian.

If anybody likes this, we should support it so it can be apart of the next DLC with its own separate short questline!
